If you're anything like me, your shower caddy is packed to the hilt with products, and your tub is encircled with even more products, so that each time you step in and out you have to do so carefully to avoid a domino-effect.

It's things like my quest for sleek locks that got me into this situation in the first place. So when I spied Nexxus Sleektress Sumptuous Smoothing Shampoo, it was a sure bet that I was going to buy it.

It's gentle, smells good, lathers well, definitely reduces frizz and softens. It smooths strands without greasing hair down. While it hasn't sparked the same feelings of devotion that my Ojon shampoo did, this has its own advantages.

The formula is pretty sophisticated. NexxuSpheres, which use a time-release delivery system, are tiny capsules packed with Ceramides, Nourishing Botanicals, Anti-Oxidant Vitamins, and UVA/UVB Protectors. These capsules are attracted to the weak spots in the hair, and dissolve over time to release a steady dose of nutrients to the hair. The shampoo also contains Silk Amino Acids and Avocado Oil to soften and strengthen hair.

So really, what's the harm in adding one more shampoo? :)

Nexxus Mousse Plus

I love big hair. No, I really love big hair. To give you a better idea, I took a trip down to Texas, and I still had the biggest hair out of everyone around me (which I consider a significant personal achievement). It manages to lift at the roots and give the rest of my hair body without feeling sticky or looking stiff and artificial. The volume lasts all evening and even through the next day. Some styling products can dry out the hair, but this mousse is A-Okay. Alcohol-free, it nourishes hair with keratin amino acids, lanolin, and conditioners.

When I use this product, it’s almost like God decided to bless me with naturally big hair. It’s a good thing.
